Sales Area Manager

Main Responsibilities / Activities

GF’s Area Sales Manager will reporting directly to Head of Sales & After Sales and will be responsible for the development and the performance of all sales activities in assigned business unit and regions in order to achieve sales results in line with commercial and budget goals. In particular, this person will be responsible for: • Sales strategy’s implementation and sales processes’ management in order to consolidate and develop business results by achieving assigned goals • Existing and new customers’ development • If needed, support in development and implementation of marketing plans • Maintenance of accurate records of all pricings, sales and activities related to the business and customers in the area • Collaborating with the technical department in order to evaluate client requirements, conducting technical negotiations and preparing commercial offers in accordance with Company capabilities • Coordination of the agents in the area and dealing with the direct customers • If required, Supporting Agents in standard proposals

Basic Requirements

• University degree in Economics or Engineering • Experience in a similar role in pharmaceutical automation sector • Organizational and managerial skills, leadership, relational and communication skills • Negotiation and listening skills • Fluent in English – both spoken and written; A second foreign language would be an advantage • International exposure in markets outside Italy is mandatory • Ability to forecast business opportunity and problem solving attitude
