Main Responsibilities / Activities
Measurement, Inspection, review deviations, validation and identification to insure a quality product to the Customer.
To inspect parts using micrometers, indicators, height gauge and bore gauges.
To understand oral and written instructions using working knowledge of GD&T.
Entering data into the ERP system accurately so the location of jobs can be found quickly.
Mark part identification numbers onto products so they can be identified easily.
Key Competences / Leadership Attributes
Need to work in a team environment
Review any deviations to determine the disposition of parts
Working knowledge of trigonometry and geometry.
Finding and evaluating order of inspect by changing priorities
Thinking outside of the box to create new ideas and processes
Working with team to eliminate waste and improve time savings
Basic Requirements
10 years experience with a machine shop / Inspection. Some college or technical school preferred. Experience preferred with ISO 9001. Faro arm or CMM experience a plus
