Main Responsibilities / Activities
About the role
The Trade Finance & Insurance Specialist will report to Group Trade Finance & Insurance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining relationships with banks and ECAs (e.g. SACE) for all the Trade Finance and Export Finance transactions
Managing Foreign Trade operations (Import/Export Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees) and Export Finance transactions (e.g. Supplier’s Credit, Buyer’s Credit, etc.).
Reviewing and negotiating Trade Finance and Export Finance documentation
Developing systems and processes to manage the Trade Finance function
Building productive working relationships with Sales and Logistic departments
Managing the Group business insurance programme, in cooperation with the group broker, ensuring most suitable insurance solutions for the Group’s operations
Key Competences / Leadership Attributes
Skills and competencies required
3 years+ Trade & Export Finance experience
Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
Degree in Economics, Business or Finance
Fluent in English
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Qualifications
Hands-on Business Insurance experience
Knowledge of PITECO
