- Materials’ Study
- Creating innovative Product and Process solutions
- Participation in the feasibility study of products proposed by customers or designed in-house
- Participation in the design of devices for the production of samples
- Production of mockups and samples
- Chemical-physical laboratory analysis on materials and products
- Patent analysis of products and protection of innovative solutions designed in-house
- Collaboration with external studies or laboratories and consultantsSpecial Projects / Challenges
The person will analyze the physical and functional requirements of the products, in particular in relation to New Generation Products (eg. Modified Risk Tobacco Product, Heat Not Burn, e-Cigs), in Tobacco and Pharma sectors.Basic Requirements
- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Materials Engineering
- Demonstrable experience in developing new solutions to address product improvements or completely new product categories
- Innovative product design experience with solid exposure in consumer focused developments
- Knowledge of measurements instruments and lab procedures (quality control, statistical analyses)
- Physical and chemical characterization of materials;
- Knowledge of mechanic design (2D and 3D)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Very good communication skills and fluency in English
