Main Responsibilities / Activities
1. Assemble documentation packages for internal and external clients
2. Update existing documentation to meet current standards
3. Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and quality assurance to document accurate information
4. Train and supervise technical publications staff
5. Create text, illustrations, animations, and take photographs
6. Manage documentation translations
7. Proofread for grammar and punctuation errors in all technical documents
8. Daily use of Adobe Creative Suite
9. Frequent use of SolidWorks Composer
10. Document standards for internal and external communications
11. Publish Service Bulletins
12. Publish Best Practice/SOP’s
Basic Requirements
1. 4 Year degree is preferred
2. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
3. Microsoft Office experience, particularly word and Excel
4. SolidWorks Composer experience
5. Experience working in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
