For a number of years now, Altria has assigned its Award of “Excellence” to suppliers who have distinguished themselves for good social responsibility practices in their activity.In 2011, the prize was awarded to G.D for its efforts in developing innovative and high-quality projects in social integration and healthcare as well as in promoting initiatives aimed at improving environmental sustainability.
At G.D, as in the COESIA Group, the values of responsibility towards its stakeholders have been an integral part of the company since its founding. Today, as then, the COESIA Group's mission explicitly aims at creating economic, social and environmental values for the sustainability of both the companies in the Group and the communities and territories to which it belongs.
